Golden Key International Honour Society is the world's largest collegiate honor society for graduate and undergraduate students, and has strong relationships with over 400 universities around the world. The Makerspace (Rm 6-201V) provides tools, materials, and support to students, faculty, and staff so you can create with technology like 3D printing, scanning, programming, VR and 360 cameras that connect the digital with the physical.

Everything at the Makerspace is 100% free.

The Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education and Response fosters a culture of consent and care at MacEwan. We develop and implement sexual and gender-based violence prevention strategies, deliver education programming, provide direct support services to students and employees, and strengthen the University’s response to disclosures, complaints and incidents of sexual and gender-based violence.

Every student at MacEwan is encouraged to conduct research and creative activity.
When you work on a research project, you explore big ideas, ask important questions, and gain experience that matters.

The Office of Research Services offers workshops for students on topics such as gaining research experience and grant writing, and we offer students opportunities such as serving on MacEwan's Ethics Boards, working or being featured on the Research Recast(ed) podcast, and our annual Student Research Day event.

SAMU Student Groups are approved groups that share a common interest or purpose. Each group is led by a student executive team, selected by and for the members. Student groups enhance the student experience by providing students with meaningful programs, events, and opportunities to connect and pursue various interests. Student groups offer a safe environment for people to interact, make new friends, learn new skills, and improve existing skills. We encourage students to dream big and think about the endless possibilities for student groups on and off campus.
