Starting university is a big step — but you don’t have to do it alone. The Community Nest Program connects first-year students with a supportive Nest Leader and a group of peers to help you settle in, make friends, and feel part of the MacEwan community.

Through weekly check-ins, social events, and online chats, you’ll make connections that last well beyond your first year.

How to Join:
Click “Join Group” to get started. Your request will be marked as “Pending Validation” while we confirm you’re a first-year student. Once validated, you’ll be prompted to complete a short, two-question survey to help us place you in a Nest with a senior student Nest Leader and fellow first-years.

You can register at any time during your first year — we can’t wait to welcome you!
